This set of seven different "case-like" figures were given away on Happy Meal boxes in countries like Australia, China and Singapore. The set includes Batman, Hawkgirl, Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, Martina Manhunter, Red Tornado and Wonder Woman. The happy meal box above was used in Australia.

Each "case" comes with three different cards that are use to play rock, paper scissors.

Four different figurines were released on each Happy Meal box by McDonal's in Australia. All the figurines have a metallic finished. Superman (gold), Clark Kent (silver), Lois Lane (copper) and Steel (dark grey). There is no articulation on any of the figurines, Superman and Steel have removable capes.

Due to the success of the Cartoon Network's Justice League, Jack in the box offered 14 different figurines on their kid's meals in 2004. The collection consisted in the following figures: Superman, Lex Luthor, Batman, The Joker, Wonder Woman, Cheetah, Green Lantern, Star Saphire, Hawkgirl, The Shade, The Flash, Copperhead, The Martian Mahunter and The Ultra Humanite.

To activate Superman's action in this figurine all you have to do is press the button on his back and to activate his heat vision beams.

Lex Luthor does not have an action, all you can do is remove his power armor.

General Mills had a DC Comics promotion in their Cheerios cereal boxes in 1977. In order to get the mail-away premium, you had to send the order form on the side of the box plus $1.25 for shipping.

Subway Restaurants had a Justice League promotion in 2002; based on the Cartoon Network's animated series with same name. The toy premium promotion featured seven figurines and an small toy for kids under three years old. The Kid's Pack came with one of the following: Superman, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter.

Superman is formed from a translucent material that is painted from the inside and comes with a detachable base featuring his emblem.

In 2003, with the success of the Justice League tv series playing on the Cartoon Network; Burger King offered in their Kids Club meals a collection of eigth toys wich included Superman, Batman, Hawkgirl, Flash, Green Lantern, The Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman and The Javelin7.

Their offered toy was Superman flying on top on an asteroid and a mini comic book with a Superman adventure.

The artwork for this mini comic book was done by Christopher Jones, here are a couple of samples.

Burger King in England had the same promotion as the USA in 1997, based on the WB tv cartoon Superman: The Animated Series; BK was promoting the dvd video Superman The Bumper Collection.

The toys were the same exact five figures given in their kid meals as the USA (See Burger King USA).

BK England added a litle bit more of fun in their Kids Club meal boxes and drink cups, they made the boxes and cups graphics into 3D scenes also adding the 3D glasses.

Also this magazine was given away at their restaurants, once again promoting the dvd and more games for the kids.

In 1997, Burger King offered a collection of five different toys based on the tv show Superman: The Animated Series in their kid's meals.

Revolving phone booth. Watch as mild manner Clark Kent turns into Superman. By pressing the yellow button in the front with the Superman logo, the phone booth with Clark Kent's image opens to reveal Superman.

Balancing Superman.

Fligth Ready Superman. While his arm are down, push Superman's button in the back to make his arms go up and ready to fly.

Lois Lane. Pull back Lois's car back to create some traction and then let her go.

Superman Launcher. Put Superman into the base, then push button and Superman twirls out of it.

Super Bugs Bunny McDonald's

McDonald's Happy Meals in 1991 came with an authorized parody of DC Super Heroes characters; in this case Bugs Bunny was a parody of Superman aka Super Bugs. Bugs came with a snap-on super-suit and a mini comic book. Also on the same collection they had Daffy Duck as Bat-Duck, Petunia Pig as Wonder Pig and the Tazmanian Devil as Taz-Flash. Filipino fast food chain Jollibee offered a neat Superman collection in their Jollibee Kids Meals under the title Superman Krypto Collectibles, the figures were made in the animated style from the 90's.

Superman Krypto Smasher, his action is to smash the rock into pieces.

Superman Krypto Launcher, Supermas flies into the sky and attacks Brainiac and Darkseid.

Superman Krypto Spinner, Superman finds himself trapped in this machine, the only way to scape is to spin as fast as he can to set free.

In 1955, Kellogg's Sugar Smacks cereal boxes gave-away a set of three comics and include titles Duel in space, The Superman time Capsule! and The Supershow of Metropolis; they were published by DC National Comics Publications Inc. Jollibee is a fast-food restaurant chain based in the Philippines. This Superman Premium came in their Jollie Kiddie Meal and is part of the Justice League collection. The figure has a really nice paint job and is built in the animated style; as you can see on the pictures and the instructions, you put together the chains around his arms and chest,once you press Superman's legs he breaks away from his trap. Additional figures were: Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern.

Superman Jack con Sorpresa Candy Argentina

Superman and Supergirl Premiums from "Jack con sorpresa" candy made in Argentina, these two "surprise" figures are part of a mix collection of DC Comics and Marverl Super Heroes. With a total of 27 mini-figures (they are about an inch tall) to collect, these mini-heroes came pack with a piece of chocolate and some fun tattoos, stickers and games. Just like the Ricolino premium from Mexico, they don't have the best paint job; but a great pair to add to my Superman Premiums collection. Once again thanks to Robert for taking the time to find the whole set for me.

Superman Jack in the Box 1999

The chain of fast food restaurants Jack in the Box ran their DC Super Heroes promotion in 1999. Figures included in the Jack's kids meals were: Superman, Darkseid, Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Batman. All figures were based in the Superman animated style, also promoting the tv series.

Superman and Clark Kent came in the now classic phone booth with a quick change action. Superman usually stores his Clark Kent clothing shrunken down inside a secret pouch hidden inside of his cape, though some stories have shown him leaving his clothes in some covert location (usually places like phone booths) for later retrieval.

Darkseid's action consisted in pressing the button on his back to illuminate his eyes, creating the infamous Omega Effect; which is a form of energy that he fires from his eyes as either concussive force or beams of disintegration, capable of transmuting or erasing most objects and organisms from existence as well as to reform or resurrect them. Anything Darkseid disintegrates with the Omega Effect can be brought back at any time by him, and he often uses this as a form of punishment.

This paper is the promotional that comes inside the plastic bag (not picture, not much to show really; just warning information) it offers an special subscription offer for the super hero magazines and a contest to win a one grand prize: winner will be featured in an upcoming DC Comics book, also receive the original artwork framed and signed by the artist. Additionally winner also receive a Nintendo 64 game console with the Superman game cartridge produce by Titus Software.

Lucky kids in Mexico had the opportunity to receive this small Superman toy with the purchase of the Cajita Ricolino brand candy. Ricolino came with this promotion in 1997, based on the DC Super Heroes! line' they release six figures; Superman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Flash, Shazam! and Wonder Woman. Superman and Supergirl were part of a collection of eight figures from the Justice League collection given away by McDonald's inside their "Cajita Feliz" in countries like Argentina, Mexico and Brazil (McLanche Feliz) in 2007; the additional figures were: Batman, Batgirl, Flash, Catwoman, Robin and Wonder Woman. These odd figures have a hinged door in the front; and inside you will find different cards with images from DC Comics heroes and villains to play a game.You will have to collect them all to a total of fifty cards.

While browsing Flickr looking for pictures about Superman Premiums, I came across this fantastic collection of 7-Eleven drink cups from 1973. 7-Eleven, for those who are not familiar with them, are convenience stores where you can buy your morning coffee, newspaper, candy, etc... These drink cups were given away everytime you came to any 7-Eleven store and buy a soda from the fountain drink dispenser.

Set one:
Jor-El and Kara, Superman, Clark Kent, Jonathan Kent and Martha Kent.

Set Two:
Superboy, Perry White, Lois Lane, Lana Lang and Jimmy Olsen.

Set Three:

Superman Red Rooster Australia 2005

Australian restaurant Red Rooster offered a collection of figures based on Cartoon Network's animated series Justice League in 2005, figures included in each of their Little Rooster Meal boxes were Superman, Wonder Woman ,Flash and Green Lantern.

Superman bends the "iron/metal" bar whe you press both his legs.

The box contains some artwork based on Cartoon Network's Justice League.

The plastic bag shows pictures from the other promotional figures and their actions as well as more information about the toys.

Superman Carls Jr./Hardees

Carls Jr./Hardees in conjunction with DC Comics/Warner Bros. promoted the release of the Justice League Unlimited DVD in 2007. Their Cool Kids Combos came with 4 different toys, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and a card game with different super heroes printed on them.

Under the title: Solar Power Superman, Superman's emblem glows with the "sunlight" coming from the back of the figure; it also has poseable arms.

Heroes vs. Villains, a game where the good guys and bad guys duke it for the win! The set comes with 25 cards and the object of the game is that the first player to get all the cards wins.

These are the heroes: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Zatanna, Black Canary, Green Arrow, The Atom and Elongated Man.

The villains: Sinestro, Dr. Destiny, Deadshot, Star Sapphire, The Joker, Copperhead, The Shade, Ultra-Humanite, Brainiac, Mongul, Wildcat, Darkseid and Solomon Grundy.

This is the front and back of the Cool Kids Combos bag, where you burger and fries come together with the promotional toy. The bag has a couple of games on the one side, Secret Identity Files and find the how many globes on the bag (not picture) and the other side a coupon/rebate to order the DVD.

Superman Cracker Jack

Cracker Jack is well known for it's "toy surprise" inside every box of their famous caramel corn and peanut snacks. In 1979, the surprise came in the form of a sticker known as "Timbre Stamps". There were a total of 20 collectible stickers containing images based on DC Comics characters.

Superman McDonald's Autralia 2003

McDonald's Australia offered four different toys in their Happy Meal boxes in 2003. From the DC Super Heroes Collection: Superman, Wonder Woman, The Penguin and the Batmobile.

Happy meal box with Superman toy in plastic bag. This figure consists in Superman "flying" atop of the Daily Planet. There is not much action to it. Just more like a display toy than a playable one.

Take a look at the happy meal box and the plastic bag.

On the left we can see a really nice puzzle: "Speed challenge!" See who is the fastest of these super heroes to get to the end, on the right a nice shot of Superman.

Left side shows images from Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman, and on top of them you were able to cut those rectangular pieces with the super heroes emblems and turn them into rings. Right side, the one and only Ronald McDonald...

Superman Kinder Surprise

Kinder Surprise, also known as a Kinder Egg (Kinder being the German word for "Children"), is a confection manufactured by Italian company Ferrero. It comes in the shape of a chocolate egg containing a small toy, frequently requiring assembly. Superman comes from their Justice League collection. In this case the figure is not so small, measuring about six inches tall and comes with a super-cool breakable door in their now classic yellow egg. Take a look at the pictures.

This is the front of the instructional booklet. As you can see, only four figures were release, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern and Superman, and they were only available in Europe.

Once you open your egg, you'll find all the pieces, this is the fun part when you have to put it together.

After a couple of minutes putting together the frame and the breakable door, Superman is ready for action!!!

With a little help from you... Superman breaks trough out that door to catch the bad guys....a really fun toy.

Lex Luthor

As a boy, lex Luthor lived in Smallville and was a friend of both Superboy and Clark kent. Then a fire broke out in his lab. When Superboy saved him by blowing out the blaze, he inadvertently destroyed the experiment Lex Luthor was working on and knocked over a chemical that caused his hair to fall out. Lex Luthor vowed vengeance, and the two have been arch-enemies ever since.

Good vs. Evil

Lex Luthor and Superman have been arch-enemies since boyhood. Now grown to manhood, Lex Luthor is the greatest of criminalscientists. He wears a special suit with built-in jets and power-gloves whose punch even Superman can feel. He uses his genius to enrich himself and attempt the destruction of Superman.

Superman

Rocketed from the exploding planet Krypton as a baby, he grew up to be the mightiest hero of them all: Superman! From his first appearance in Action Comics #1, in 1938, the Man of Steel became the foremost comic hero of them all. Faster than speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings at a single bound, Superman is a modern American myth. He is known and loved on every continent and read about in over a dozen languages.

The Man of Steel

Superman has the strength to move cars, mountains...even Planets! Fortunaly, Superman uses his strength to help fight crime. His greatest weakness is Kryptonite, whick evil forces sometimes use in an effort to combat the great strength of Superman.

Superman and Supergirl

Supergirl was born in Argo City, which survived the explosion of the planet Krypton. Her real name is Kara Zor-El, and Superman is her cousin. She also came to Earth in a small rocket ship when Argo City was doomed by Kryptonite. She took the Earthname of Linda Lee, and eventually she was adopted and raised by Fred and Edna Danvers.

Krypto

Superboy had a pet dog named Krypto. Krypto was lost when shot into space from Krypton in an experimental space capsule. Eventually, he reached Earth, where he was reunited with his master, Superboy. Krypto spends a great deal of time romping through space, and when he returns to Earth he uses a secret tunnel to reach his master.

Clark Kent

Clark Kent is the disguise used by Superman to protect his identity. The mild-mannered reporter wears glasses made from the heat-proof plastic windows from the spaceship that brought him to Earth. His name was given by Jonathan and Martha Kent, who found him as a baby and raise him as their own son. In the public view, Clark Kent is a talented, informative TV and newspaper reporter. In private, he is the Man of Steel-Superman!

Lois Lane

Lois Lane is an attractive female reporter for the Daily Planet. Many people wonder why she likes Clark Kent so much, but she has known him a long time, and she has seen flashes of courage that go contrary to his public image. In the back of her mind there's still a nagging feeling that Clark kent just might be Superman.

Jimmy Olsen

Jimmy Olsen started out as an office boy for the Daily Planet. In time, he became a cub reporter, then, finally, a full reporter. Jimmy Olsen is always rushing into the the thick of things in an effort to be a star reporter. While he can often work things out for himself, there are times when he needs help from Superman.

Perry White

Perry White is the tough Editor of the Daily Planet. He is a man of courage and a good deal of impatience -when he wants something done, he wants it done ten minutes ago! He has a real liking to his top reporters, but he'd never think of showing it. Perry White always wants the Daily Planet to get the news first, and he tries to cover everything more fully than the TV news show.

Superman and Lois Lane

Lois Lane is in love with Superman, and he returns her love. But, Superman feels he can never marry, since criminals would strike at him through his wife. Neither one can stand the idea of the other being hurt or in danger, and when they unite after such an episode, they do reveal strong emotion for each other.

The Taystee bread company in 1978 offered a set of 30 collectible stickers based on the character of DC Comics; with the purchased of one of their especially marked products, one of these stickers was found inside. These stickers were produced by Arnold Harris Assoc., Inc. Here we have all Superman related stickers. On the left is a picture of the sticker, on the right is what is written on the back of it.

Jor-El and Lara

Superman was born on the planet Krypton, the son of Jor-El and Lara. his name on Krypton was Kal-El. Jor-El was a scientist, and he discovered that Krypton was destined to explode. However, few people belive him, and he had to work alone in his effort to save his family.

Leaving Krypton

Jor-El believed tha planet Krypton was doomed to explode, so he worked feverishly to build a spaceship to save his entire family. However, when the fatal day arrived he only had time to finish a small model, so he used that to send his son, Kal-El, throught a space warp to the distant planet Earth.

Jonathan and Martha Kent

Once on Earth, Superman had great powers of strength and speed, due to the lighter gravity and the yellow sun of this world. He was raised by Jonathan and Martha Kent, who knew of his powers, but concealed the fact and created a new secret identity for him.

More powerful than a locomotive

The lighter gravity on Earth and the yellow sun of this world make it easier for Superman to move with astonishing speed. of course he flies, but Superman can even run fast-fast enough to breack through the time-barrier, he can even hover in the air, motionless.

Nestle had this promotion in 1978 with an expiration date of December 31, 1979; all you had to do to get your free Superman ring was to send this coupon (above) with 10 Nestle related wrappers or send 5 wrappers plus $1.50.

Buy A Pepsi And Keep The Glass." © This was the promotional slogan used to make DC Comics fans to start collecting these cool super glasses, you could get you pick of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Robin, Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Supergirl, Shazam!, Batgirl, The Joker, The Riddler and The Penguin. These glasses are commonly known as "moon glasses" because of the moon-like shape on the back of the printed character, each features a color image repeated on front and back. Superman Kellogg's Pep Pin

These comic buttons were pack inside specially marked boxes of Kellogg's® Pep® cereal between 1945 and 1948. Here we have an example of that box; the front of the box has an ad for the Pep pins including an image from Superman, the back panel features a Superman 8-panel comic strip from a numbered series of at least 12. This is #1 and titled "Superman and The Terrible Underseas Monster." Back panel also mentions the Superman radio program. Kellogg's Pep cereal were the first sponsors for the radio show in 1945 and Kellogg's continues its association with the character through 1957 for the duration of the Adventures of Superman TV show.
